Pakistan Bomb Blast: Explosion In Karachi

At least two people have died after a bomb exploded in a crowded area of Karachi, according to Sky sources.

More than 30 people have been injured in the explosion, which damaged six buses and four motorbikes.

Senior police official Imran Shouakat said the cause of the blast was a motorbike planted with explosives.

The southern port city is home to 18 million people and is the financial capital of Pakistan.

Authorities there have been unable to clamp down on militancy and violent crime.

Between five and 10 people are murdered there every day, but bombings are less common.
