Five people have been killed after a lifeboat fell from a cruiseliner in the Canary Islands.
It happened during a safety drill while the vessel was docked at the port of Santa Cruz on La Palma.
A further three people suffered injuries, including a Greek national, officials said.
No details were immediately available about the dead, but the regional rescue service said the injured were three men.
Local media said the lifeboat fell while staff were conducting an evacuation drill on the cruise ship.
